Through comprehensive programming that provides leadership coaching and global exposure, WEN cultivates a pipeline of young women poised for leadership roles that will drive positive social impact on a global scale.
Since 2009, Women Empowering Nations have served over 16,000 young women in 60+ countries.

Youth Development Programs
Partnering with schools and community organizations,WEN provides leadership development programs for middle and high school girls enhancing mental health, personal growth, career development, global awareness, and post-secondary success.

Leadership Training & Global Cohorts
Through virtual cohorts and networks, WEN brings together emerging leaders 17-23 years old from around the world. Participants gain global exposure and executive coaching from industry experts rooted in mental well-being, storytelling, advocacy, values-based leadership, and service.

Global Service & Travel Seminars
WEN participants engage in service initiatives and travel seminars for exposure and leadership development with young women from around the world visiting countries such as Senegal, Gambia, Morocco, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, and more.

As first generation Gambian-Sengalese American, Fatimata lacked the support system and resources necessary to pursue her goals and dreams. Her mother, who had limited access to education, inspired her to advocate for gender equality and change.
