The Problem:

Women are dramatically outnumbered in senior leadership. Only about 1 in 5 C-suite leaders is a woman, and only 1 in 25 is a woman of color.

The research shows:

  • Women of color are far more likely than white women to say they want to advance to the next level—and Black and Asian women are even more interested in advancing than men.

  • Women of color are much more interested in becoming a top executive than white women are. Black women with leadership ambitions are particularly interested in paving the way for others and having a positive impact on company culture.

Our Solution:

Forging a path for underserved girls of color to develop as global leaders.

Women Empowering Nations is a non-profit organization that provides exposure and mentorship for girls of color in underserved communities to grow as socially conscious global leaders. WEN’s programs develop young women through our 3 P’s: Power, Purpose, and Platform.
